Honduras Missions Trip
2018 has been a great year so far, and is getting better!
I’m enrolled in Aviation School and enjoying it more than I ever thought, and now this summer I have the opportunity during my summer break from school to return to Honduras for a Missions Trip June 30th – July 14th with Whitfield’s Missions. I’ve been twice already and am so thankful for the Lord opening up the opportunity to go back where the Lord has sent me before and a place that He has put in my heart.
During those two weeks we will work with Whitefield’s Missions as they minister in Orphanages, local schools, nursing homes, and more. Whitefield Missions was started 20+ years ago by Allen and Vicki Skelton. They have a huge impact in the region of La Cieba, Honduras with is in the Northern part of Honduras on the Caribbean Sea.
I’m especially excited that we will be able to help with their Medical Missions Outreach! During the Medical Mission outreaches Whitefield’s goes into remote villages and sets up stations where people with no access to any medical help whatsoever are able to see Doctors and Nurses, offering needed medical services, and giving out much needed basic medicine. During my last mission trip we were able to see over 800 people in a day, and also preach the love and salvation of Jesus to them.
Honduras is considered one of the most dangerous countries to travel into, but we know that with your joining with us in prayer, God’s angels will help guide and protect us.
I want to ask you to partner with me during this mission outreach in prayer and support. I will need to raise $1750 to cover all of the expenses of travel, lodging, and food for this two week mission’s trip.
My Dad has told me the story of Rev. William Carey, the great founder of modern missionaries. Rev. Carey said to his supporters, “If you will hold the rope, I will go into the pit.” I want to ask you to prayerfully consider helping me with that rope, so that I can go down to Honduras and partner with Whitefield’s Mission for the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus.
Will please prayerfully consider giving whatever you are prompted to give for this Missionary Outreach to Honduras, being sensitive to His leading and acting as He speaks to you.
